Based at our facilities in Essex, we use the very latest CNC (Computer Numerical Control) technology and high-performance machines to provide a high-precision turning, milling, grinding and fabrication service, all delivered with an impressively fast turnaround and at very competitive prices.

The range of precision engineering and machining services we offer includes:

  • CNC Turning. Using sliding and fixed head lathes through multiple axis, machining from 1.0 mm to 64.0 mm through bar feed and 203.0 mm in billet form.
  • CNC Milling, High-precision milling through multiple (up to 4) axis to create components in multiple shapes, complete with accurately cut slots, holes etc.
  • Grinding: Using Centerless grinding methods (Through Feed and Plunge grinding) to deliver high-quality results with a fast turnaround.
  • Fabrication. Able to work with most materials, we can bring our expertise in cutting, welding, folding and press work, etc. to create the components and products you need.
  • We can also have your components finished with electroplating or with a powder coating.

The highest quality control standards

For 40 years, we have built a reputation for high quality control in all our engineering and machining work. To achieve this, we work only with the most up to date CAD software and frequently upgraded machines, and work to the highest industry standards.

  • All machines are under 5 years old and are upgraded regularly.
  • Committed to ISO 9001, we maintain a strict quality control system. To ensure you feel completely confident in the parts/ components we create, we fully document every dimension of the part(s) and store SPC data to meet customer traceability standards.
  • To ensure work is carried out to high standards and to your precise specification, we conduct First Off, In Process and Last off Inspections throughout a batch, regardless of quantity. We also carry out a thorough visual inspection before dispatch.
  • Rigorous machine-side inspection is carried out using precision tools and gauges (including micrometres, Vernier callipers, height gauges and pin gauges).
  • Inspection documentation is available on request, including: PPAPs(Pre-Production Approval Process), ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Reports), Material Certificates, Certificate of Conformity and Certificate of Compliance.

Quality Control

To allow us to maintain the strict quality control required by our diverse range of customers and our commitment to ISO 9001, we have a state of the art quality system in place. This system installs confidence in the customer that we can fully document every dimension of the part and can store SPC data to meet customer traceability standards.

The following Inspection documentation is available on request; this will ensure your quality standards are met:

PPAPs(Pre-Production Approval Process), ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Reports), Material Certificates, Certificate of Conformity and Certificate of Compliance.

Our staff carry out First Off, In Process and Last off Inspection throughout a batch.

Visual Inspection is also carried out prior to dispatch. These processes will ensure a quality product to your exact specification.

A full complement of precision hand inspection tools and gauges including micrometres, Vernier calipers, height gauges and pin gauges allow the engineers to carry out ongoing inspection machine side, throughout a batch of parts, no matter what the quantity.
